While my educational background is rooted in science, I have always been drawn to creating. Growing up, I spent most of my free time rummaging through my mom’s craft closet; beading, painting, stitching, you name it, I tried it. I discovered ceramics in 2019 when a friend and I attended an introductory wheel class and fell in love with the endless possibilities of clay. My passion deepened when I found an incredibly welcoming studio in 2021. By the end of that year, my husband and family surprised me with my own pottery wheel. Today, my studio is where science and art meet, a place to experiment with clay bodies, glaze interactions, and the possibilities of form.
